Megumu Kobayashi has her work cut out for her while she attempts to convince Aoi Sanada, her boyfirend, that she loves him. This is due to the fact that Aoi has sever burn scars and throughout his life he has been shunned by others because of them and that is why he keeps them hidden and remains distant from people.
Meanwhile, Mitsuru Kobayashi and Azusa Tokugawa have been steadily getting closer, but all of that could come to an abrupt halt as Azusa's world is about to come crashing down around her. Both of her parents have been aught cheating and it is making headlines in the newspaper, threatening to derail her already fragile life.
This volume is cute, I can see why Aoi was in pain due to the way he has been treated in the past; however, I am not sure it was a strong enough reason to explain why he could not touch females. I think Mitsuru and Azusa have a very interesting relationship, but they seem to fit each other very well and I love how no matter how many times Azusa tries to get Mitsuru to let her defend herself he always shows up by her side to back her up.
