I have not read a book that I love to this extent in a very very very very long time.
It's angry and does not give a d@mn.
If you aren't for feminism, if you're LGBTQ-phobic, or otherwise an equivalent loser, you will not like this book.
Go back to your cherry-picked bible verses and having your thoughts dictated by paedophilic men in power.
This book perfectly encapsulates my every emotion regarding patriarchy, misogyny, and homophobia within our current society.
Just like Xiran Jay Zhao, I'm tired of it, and just like Zetian, I would love to see heads roll for it - even those people that are called my "family".
I admit that I'm glad the editors had Xiran hold back the more extreme descriptions of rape, as it is a trigger of mine, but even if it was there I would still love this book with my entire soul.
I cannot wait for the second book to release. Preordered.
