I'm not rating this one because I have very mixed feelings! I do like the story and I want to continue reading the series, largely because I want to get into more CLAMP series and they all intersect in different ways. (I tried reading xxxHolic and immediately felt like I was missing out on a lot by not having read previous CLAMP works). Magical girl is not really something I'm interested in, and I'm mostly here for whatever is going on between Toya and Yuki. I'm also rooting for Tomoyo.
Here's what I just cannot comprehend: the casual acceptance of, frankly, pedophiles. I really don't like that Sakura's mom and dad got together (married) when her mom was 16 and her dad was 25. Yikes. But that is legal in some places so I could kinda be like okay I hate it but whatever. HOWEVER there's also a ten year old in a romantic relationship with her teacher?!!!!! WTF. He gives her an engagement ring and everything. I also feel like Tomoyo's mom is way too interested in Sakura and is treating her like the second coming of her beloved cousin, Sakura's mom (who is dead, btw). Basically every time an adult shows up they are sus and way too interested in kids. So yeah I'm majorly creeped out by that.
