Enjoyed it much more than the first book, you’re more invested in the main character Vasya and her fight for freedom. She is a character who isn’t satisfied with a woman’s lot in life in history and is determined to find her own path. It’s got a nostalgic vibe as in the background you can see the folklore of Russia dying, while Vasya acts as one of the last links to it.
