Just realized that this is yet another book with a woman on the cover.
I got some really tough news recently and was trying to find something to read while I absorbed it. This turned out to be a good choice. In addition to containing words of inspiration and instances where the most commonplace advice or encouragement hit the spot, there is also insight into the lives and personalities of the contributors. Some people were more motivated by negative remarks and proving them wrong, which is not my style at all. But it did make me think of things that specific people in my life have taught me and the ways in which other people have helped shape my approach to life.
