Gabriel has been in the human realm for decades ...his mother sending him, his brothers, and sister there to keep them safe from their evil uncle who killed their oldest brother for the throne. Now in New Orleans he has to find a way to lift a curse placed upon him after he turned down advances from the Voodoo Queen(Lack thereof) before it saps all his power and harm those under his protection. Raven is dying from cancer a brain tumor and doesn't have any time life. After a visit from Gabriel she's given a new lease on life, but only under the condition she helps break the curse before his time runs out on Fat Tuesday. While Learning about the curse Raven finds out about her own families history and powers. Plus falling for a dragon who may or may not live to see a HEA.

Raven got on my nerves at first like sis was doing the most and dramatically overboard being stubborn. She was putting poor Gabriel through hell and some I swear. When she finally got it together she became one badass chick and tearing stuff up! I loved that for her...Gabriel fyne self played that sexy grumpy dragon part to the "T" I swear. Really enjoyed the book.
