Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family by Omid Scobie, Carolyn Durand

4.0

After being a big fan of the Royal Family for almost 10 years, and especially after following Harry and Meghan's relationship from the beginning, I was excited to get my hands on this book. The first few chapters were quite boring as I already knew a lot of the details from reading other biographies about the couple, particularly one of Harry's, earlier this year. Once those few chapters were over and there were more details of the aftermath of the engagement and wedding, I was more intrigued by hearing all sides of the story. As there were quite a few conflicting news stories about the rifts throughout the royal household, I loved being able to see what the real truth was based on the experience and knowledge of Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand. With all the details regarding what really went down behind closed doors up until their split from the Royal Family, I would highly recommend this book for all royal lovers who want to know more about this trailblazing and modern couple.

Favorite Quote: "Above all, the couple want to continue with what they have always set out to do: empowering others."
