This is book two of the series but can be read as a stand alone, I did not read book one. This was a different read for me, Igor trips and unplugs one cord and an accident ensues. Joey was involved in said accident, and now the team is trying to figure out how bad things are and where to go from there. Due to Joey having dissociative amnesia she thinks that she’s Igor’s nanny..so what does he do? He goes along with it. It was a different take on the nanny/single dad trope, but I didn’t mind it. It was funny and Igor and his daughter were super cute. Joey got along really well with her as well. The banter between Joey and Igor was good too. There was a lot of hockey terms and most of the time it was a bit overwhelming for me, while reading as I didn’t remember what they were and didn’t feel like flipping to the beginning each time, I could have done with less of those, but that’s just me.
