The Guilty by David Baldacci

4.0

I liked how the author took this book in a different direction from the previous ones. And this was quite the mystery I'll tell you that much. Plus we got to know most of Robie's history. He was a state championship QB. How neat is that? As far as the audiobook is concerned, the narrator for the men keep changing and I don't like that.

Not sure why they referred to Tyson as Robie's step-brother when he was clearly a half-brother.

And why didn't Robie tackle
SpoilerLaura in the shed when he had the chance? He just threw a stick at her and ran away with Tyson. That was such a risky move, especially when Jessica was bleeding out on the ground. I was surprised that one gunshot wound took her down too, for how tough she is. Plus the dad coming there to save them was a little out there
.

The ending was rushed with the catharsis between Robie and his dad. More time should have been dedicated for that.
