Court
by Tracy Wolff
I’m a big fan of Tracy Wolff’s CRAVE series, but COURT is my least favorite of them all. Although I had no problems getting through it, many paragraphs (or even select chapters) could’ve been omitted. It felt as if the author was told by her agent she needed to have X amount of pages for the book to be published or something. So, to abide by that request, she included every single random thought Grace and/or Hudson had. (If only I was exaggerating.)
The ramblings dived VERY deep down into Grace’s insecurities about whatever subject matter she got fixated on. By the time she stopped and got back to her reality, I couldn’t remember the purpose of what she was doing, where she was at, or - at times - what I read before the excessive ramblings.
Despite my slight dislike for the fourth installment, it was still a great read and fuels my excitement for CHARM (5) and CHERISH (6).
