Before getting my hands on a copy of Think Again I read the original Girls series and did find Ellie to be an annoying and overreacting narrator, I thought it was because she was 13 but that voice carries through even now. Ellie is a bit annoying, overreacts, and is a bit simple with her behaviour and responses. However, in true Jacqueline Wilson fashion, everything is a bit obvious and predictable and then feels a bit rushed in the end, with some plot lines not getting fully resolved.

But nevertheless it was an enjoyable read, although I’m not sure I’d pick up another of her adult fics but we’ll see…
