Born in Fire by K.F. Breene

5.0

Born in Fire is the first of K. F. Breene's Fire and Ice Trilogy. I love the idea of this series and wish it went longer than just three books. There's way too much to still discover about Reagan, Darius, and their friends.
Reagan has a heritage that she's trying to keep hidden while trying to survive as a bounty hunter of mystical beings. Darius is the vampire that keeps stealing her marks but helps her in his own way. Their relationship will develop a lot more in the later books.
This book was pretty much the set up to introduce us to the main characters and let us know their capabilities. It also introduced us to some of the possible antagonists in future books, including Dracula.
I suggest giving this series a chance, it's darn good.
