This is the second book in the New England Bay Sharks series, but can be read as a standalone. 

 

I freaking LOVED this book. Every heartbreaking moment was written with such beauty and care, I could feel the passion behind the words with this one. Hannah exceeded any and all of my exceptions. I don’t even care that it’s only the second week of January, this is without a doubt one of my top reads of 2025. 

 

Marriage in crisis is seriously such an underrated trope, imo. (side note: if anyone who takes the time to read this review has more recs, please send them my way!) Part of me hates how much I related to Paige, but having gone through similar struggles to her made me love and appreciate her strength that much more. And Kolt, oh man, Uncle Kolty will have you swooning, even if occasionally you want to reach into the book and shake the communication out of the man lol.
