Notes of a Crocodile
by Qiu Miaojin
I feel like there's so much to think about in this book. So much angst and desperation going through Lazi's / narrator's life about their (mostly) sexuality and how they perceived the world a little differently with other 'normal' people amongst them.
The book conveys loneliness and hopelessness SO WELL. and this review couldn’t do justice to it. I think Love in the Big City by Sang-Young Park had the similar feeling to it.
I found many lines of the book relatable to me. Metaphors are well used in this book. giving the book 4 out of 5 stars despite I lovee & enjoying the book so much just because the structure sometimes confused me.
Definitely will reread the book and give more notes if I have other chance.
