The Lady in the Coppergate Tower by Nancy Campbell Allen

4.0

I love a good fairy tale retelling and this revamp of Rapunzel is very clever. First of all it's steampunk and includes a Nautilus-style submarine. Additionally, the Mother Gothel character is a rich Romanian count who may or may not be a vampire. Also, I like how the author worked in the element of twins into the main part of the story. I don't think I've seen that with a Rapunzel retelling before.
