I think if I read this book when I was younger I would have loved it thus I recommend this to you if you’ve just finished school. I think you’d be able to relate a lot more to the characters and their issues.

However, this book wasn’t really for me. Alot of the issues wasn’t things I could relate too anymore thus I think took me out of the story alot of the time.
I think the best way for me the review this will be too list what I did like and what I didn’t.

Things that I did like :
>The concept of the pen pals was such a fun idea too introduce the characters to each other.
>This was a very quick read
>Gave off an Early 2000s movie vibe

Things that I didn’t like :
>I’m not a fan of the bullying troupe and this had a lot of it
>I didn’t understand why Ryens sister was so mean
>I love would have liked to know why Mishas dad was so awful to him
>A lot of homophobia
>I’m not a fan of setting a new adult story in a school environment. Doesn’t sit right with me.

Overall if you find the synopsis interesting give it a go however if you find yourself disliking the stuff I listed above, give this book a skip
