⚠️TW // child endangerment, poison, and kidnapping

“It was easier to manipulate someone if they didn’t perceive you as a threat.”

Imagine that Dee Dee Blanchard actually went to prison for what she did to Gypsy Rose and was released after five years. Now imagine Gypsy Rose actually wanting to take her mother in after she was released….That’s what this book is, except replace Dee Dee with Patty Watts and Gypsy Rose with Rose Gold.

This book is told in both Rose Gold’s and Patty’s POV. I found myself looking forward more to Rose Gold’s chapters and wanting to get through Patty’s. As a crime junkie, I already knew so much about the case that this book was based on. Because of that, I wish it had more differences and wasn’t so similar.
