A book I have wanted to read for YEARS!
The vulnerability of Charlie (mmc) truly struck a chord with me. I believed the storyline to the end.
Charlie’s friendship with both Patrick and Sam was truly heart warming and later on heart wrenching when the friendship started to go downhill. His relationship with his parents and siblings added to his vulnerabilities.
The final chapter (the after word) had me reduced to tears. The reflexive nature of this chapter brought all the themes, morals, storylines to a whole different perspective and resonated with me.
5⭐️ incredible writing and read in one sitting.
