Um...meh? The writing reminded me of an okay fan-fic which is not at all bad - it was highly readable, the characters were interesting (even if not fully fleshed out), and the dialogue was pretty spot on. But, it was a bit difficult to wrap my mind around a vampire that can only drink vegetable juice, sheds acid tears, and turns into a knockout in just a few days. I did like the plot of trying to find her "killer" even though it is a fairly predictable whodunit in the end. The justice she receives doesn't feel satisfying since it all wraps up too easy and the punishment happens off page. Finally, the ending sort of felt rushed with added details to jump into the next book in the series that could have been left to that next book.

I think this could fall under a guilty pleasure book for those who like this sort of thing. It certainly was different and entertaining.
