"Cilka's Journey" by Heather Morris is a profoundly touching and hauntingly beautiful novel that delves into the depths of human compassion and resilience. Inspired by true events with a drizzle of fiction and romance just like in her first book, this book takes us on a remarkable journey through the life of Cilka Klein, a survivor of Auschwitz-Birkenau. Cilka finds herself torn between loyalty to her past, as memories of her lost love, Gita, haunt her, and the beguiling presence of a compassionate doctor, Alexandr, Josie and all the other women in the hut. Their connection transcends the bleakness of the Gulag, offering a ray of hope and a reminder of the transformative power of human connection, even in the darkest times.

I enjoyed "THE TATTOOIST OF AUSCHWITZ" but I felt this one had no business being this long, I began getting bored as the book should have ended in just about 10-15 chapters 20 at the most. The author emphasized on irrelevant issues and as usually wasn't able to portray the emotions, the pain that the survivers went through. I couldn't grief with them, I would rate it higher but this rating is as high I could go
