Burn Like An Angel by J. Rose

dark emotional hopeful tense medium-paced

4.5

Burn Like an Angel is the final part of the Harrowdean Manor duet.
You need to read Sin Like the Devil first.

This book immerses you in a world of trauma, survival, healing, and resilience, while also exploring a “why choose” romance that challenges conventional notions of love and trust among people struggling with mental illness and deep emotional scars.

I will miss Ripley and her guys—Raine (most of all), Lennox, and Xander. I cried my eyes out multiple times because, like the characters, I also felt saved and healed after everything we went through together in these two books.

If you love dark romance and survival stories, this duet will take you on an unforgettable journey.

Although you can read this duet as a standalone, I strongly recommend reading the Blackwood Institute series first to fully grasp the depth of this pitch-black, dark universe.
