I liked this book. I enjoyed learning about desi culture (which was a stated goal of the author), and the characters were fun. There was not a lot of strong character development, and some of the motivations around the "hate" trope at the beginning were a little forced, and it was a little slow, but as the book went on, it picked up in pace and was an overall enjoyable fun read. If you are looking for a little light reading (although I did look up a lot of the terms and food on the internet to increase my understanding of desi culture), it's a great one.
