A Beginner's Guide to Bear Spotting by Michelle Robinson

4.0

Before venturing into the forest, it’s best that the young reader knows all about how to handle both black and brown bears. While they may differ in colour, these two types of bears are both dangerous. One climbs, the other does not; one requires movement to engage while the other handles ‘playing dead’ as a culinary invitation. In the end, it will take some wily skill to dodge them, if you even meet them while walking through the forest. Neo liked the book and laughed at all the silly rules that he was to follow. He did ask if he could go look for bears one day. I agreed, as long as they are of the stuffed variety.
