I love @hannahmorrisseywriter’s books. They are noir novels that are well written and have you on the edge of your seat for the whole book. They are all based in Black Harbor, WI with a cast of characters that are gritty, hard working investigators. I love that the focus of each book shifts to different characters within the police department.
In Hannah’s newest novel, When I’m Dead, the story follows Detective Axel Winthrop and his wife, Medical Examiner Rowan Winthrop. They are called away from their daughters play to investigate a girl who was murdered, only to find their daughter missing when they get home. The investigation that follows sheds light on the bullying occurring at the local high school and secrets.
I highly recommend grabbing this book to read!
