This is really more of a 3.75⭐️ read, with rounding up for "very Meggy vibes" with space pirates, a rogue AI, and a plague. This is heavily plot driven (with maybe one too many plots?) and I was craving a little more development and character growth. 
That said, it's a perfect pick for #sapphicseptember and I appreciated that none of the real conflict was relationship oriented. Ada and Iridian start in an established relationship which was somehow comforting amidst their rise for space piracy.
