i don't read much non-fiction, and maybe reading this during assignment season at uni was a bad idea.
i was really into it at first, but slowly my interest in it dwindled and it took me about a month to complete. there were some essays i really liked. the lascaux caves was my favourite.
as a whole, though, i don't think the essays were for me. they were quite overwhelming and at times incoherent, jumping from one thing to the next over and over in the same essay. as a result, none of it really stuck with me, and most of it left my brain immediately.
