We All Want Impossible Things by Catherine Newman

5.0

I always try to find the humor in every situation. Sometimes it's really hard. Like, really, really hard. The past month has been really sad as we faced the fact that we were going to be losing a family member to cancer. I sat down yesterday knowing it would probably be her last day and read this entire book. It made me laugh, cry, all the things. Catherine Newman's way of writing is fantastic. Quick, funny, dry, fast paced, I love it. I highly recommend this book for anyone, not just those saying goodbye to someone on hospice care. It's about friendship, relationships, the hard times, celebrating the good times, cats, comfort and the finality of death (in a funny way).
