so let’s start with the positives: it was a quick read (which me being in a bit of a slump is perfect for me!), the plot while being common had a wonderful twist that i enjoyed, the main character was a strong female character who was clever, i will be reading more books from this author!
now the “negatives” (bc it was the authors first book i don’t expect them to create a perfect masterpiece so i can forgive these) i thought the romance was incredibly rushed so that wasn’t pleasant, on that same note there were some pacing issues that confused me, some grammar and other typos
but overall i enjoyed this book and will be reading their other ones! especially bc this was just a novella and their other books are twice as long so that will help the pacing and hopefully no more rushed romances !
