Thus far, this is my favorite novella of 2024. I know it’s still early in the year, but I’m fairly certain it will be one I think of often. The vivid descriptions, the wonderful color describing futuristic African culture, the language, and the emotional journey the protagonist goes through is stunning. I will definitely be adding as many books by Nnedi Okorafor to my reading list as possible
