I won’t go in length about this book, because most people already know what to think of it. It’s just a beautiful piece of art and the writing is absolutely stunning. Although the ending is quite predictable, I think it is one of my favorite book endings of all time, it is just masterfully executed and makes the book feel « complete » and even more impressive. It is probably the reason why I rated this over 4 stars, which is something I very rarely do. Another thing I think is very important with this, is that as a non-native english speaker, this was a great book for me to start reading classic literature in english. It’s true that sometimes the descriptions are a little to confusing still for my level, but I could understand the majority of it and it was great to introduce myself to more elaborate structures and phrasing. I would definitely recommend this book, well of course to anyone, but especially to beginners in English literature.
