Between Despair and Hope
by Jess Wisecup
I stayed up till 4am finishing this book, because I couldn't put it down towards the end. These books man! This series is an underrated GEM! If you love the Throne of Glass series, A Court of Thorns and Roses, Blood and Ash, and/or the Bridge Kingdom series, I think you will love this series! I literally am dying to read the next book! August can't come quick enough!
I love how we get to see more POVs in this book! Not only Rainier's, but also Dewalt's, Lavenia's, Elora's, and Cyran's! There might've been another POV, maybe Mairin's, but I'm not sure. It's done really well tho and I actually enjoyed reading from all of their POVs.
The author is really good at crafting her stories to make the reader feel like they are dying to read more. One moment I'm like wanting to go back to the other characters plot but then she hits me with that character's plot going intense, and then I'm dying to know what's happening to both characters at once! It's all very devious of the author and I love it lol
I'm so invited in this series and I just need everyone to read it so we can talk about it together!
