The Devil's Star by Jo Nesbø
4.0

This is the point where Nesbo's style matures. It feels like I'm reading a good TV-series or movie, where the points of suspense are well integrated, keeping you guessing and misleading you. Inadvertedly, this also means that a lot of its plot beats are based on extreme coincidence, especially when it comes to Tom Waaler's arch that started 2 books ago. And yet, it still remains a joy to read his Harry Hole series because Nesbo manages to put a lot of knowledge in it, which I enjoy reading because it links very well to the situation and objects.
