Wonderful! The illustrations call up the colors and stylization of Disney's Sleeping Beauty, and the rhyming narrative is deft and sweet. Both text and illustrations don't pull any punches re: gay romance, either, the way some queer-friendly books for children do: there are a kiss and some deep eye contact, actual touching rendered on the page, and there's a line about "the two men's wedding day" in the happily ever after. It's a well-done story in the style of a fairy tale, and it's freaking great!
