The Great Beanie Baby Bubble: Mass Delusion and the Dark Side of Cute by Zac Bissonnette

4.0

This was so interesting! As someone who had a ton of Beanie Babies as a kid (not for resale, just to play with), reading about adults going nuts for these and how the huge secondary market for them happened was super interesting, as was learning about the "dark side" of the company's founder.

It moved a little slowly in the final third of the book, but I still really enjoyed it and wanted to continue reading. This book was my perfect mix of insider gossip and business case study. If you like that sort of thing too, check this one out!
