When Beatriz steps onto the creepy grounds of San Isidro, the dread builds immediately. The atmosphere is thick with secrets, and the house itself feels like a main character watchful, malevolent, and unwelcoming. 

This one is tense, slow burning and ominous. Beatriz is a likable character who you will  root for. Then the priest, who wasn’t always holy. Padre Andrés comes to help, while harboring his own secrets. Together they try to right all the wrongs of this house.

Perfect for reading with the lights on long before bedtime.
