What an interesting cult thriller. I loved the descriptive and imaginative writing that really pulled you into this secluded gothic island. The torture that this group willingly suffered at the hands of their leader - “Uncle” - was horrific and dark. At first I wasn’t that impressed with the twist at the end but once they explained the extent of the planning, I was definitely on board. My only complaint is with the later story line from Dinah - I thought those parts weren’t as exciting or necessary as the rest of the story. Overall, I would definitely recommend
