I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is book 4 in the Sunkissed Summer Novellas Series, a standalone multi-author collaboration series. The book's blurb lets you know what to expect. Her Runaway Vacay is told through Meg and Kal's pov and is a sweet opposites romance.
Meg lived her life following rules & being sensible but being in Hawaii, & meeting Kal, helped her to be spontaneous and realize that she could have fun too. Kal’s easygoing attitude may have encouraged her but she also helped him gain a new perspective about his life and consider things that he hadn’t allowed himself to. It was fun to see their different personalities together but they complimented each other perfectly. I loved their flirty banter and the adventures they took together. It was nice to see them go from strangers to friends. Their romance was a clean one consisting of descriptive, but not overly steamy, kisses and no curse words were used. Overall, this was the perfect summer novella that I can't recommend enough.
