I really really really liked this book.
I of course could not read the summary for The Unlikely Heir and think of Red, White & Royal Blue, Playing the Palace, Boyfriend Material, and even American Royals.
But, this book fully stands on its own and is a delightful read.
Callum was a joy to get to know, which all his adorable, endearing, doubting, angsty moments. Oliver was lovely and stiff upper lip but just perfect.
And together, they made magic.
I really enjoyed getting to know everyone and seeing their relationships develop. The dramatic moments were great for the plot and the tender moments had me smiling widely and sighing in romance.
