Planes, Trains, and All The Feels by Livy Hart was a really fun adventure modeled after the famous movie by a similar name. I really loved the way these characters came together and grew together through traumatic experience after traumatic experience. I think that this book makes them break down their barriers and see the best in each other even when the situation could call for otherwise, and I really liked that about this book. The characters were quirky and funny throughout, and the way they juxtaposed each other had me smiling ear to ear. I think this book maintains the comedic structure of the movie it replicates and I really appreciated that. It was refreshing in its comedy coziness. I couldn’t put this book down and I really liked forward to picking it back up every time I had to put it down. While the plot of this book was a bit simple, I think it worked well with these characters, since their interactions were often loud and busy. Overall, I really loved these characters and this story. It was definitely a really comforting and funny read, which has been what I’ve been really enjoying recently. If you’re someone who likes lighthearted comedy romances where everything that could go wrong, definitely will go wrong, this one is definitely for you.
