This was such a strange and beautiful book—I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is amazing; I was totally drawn into the House world. It was mysterious, timeless, and strangely peaceful. I also really enjoyed reading from Piranesi's viewpoint, and the way the story is structured through his notebooks kept me super engaged.

I had no idea where the plot was going, and that made it even more fascinating. The plot develops slowly, but once it starts unfolding, everything falls into place perfectly - and for every answer a new question emerges, which keeps the mystery going. I also enjoyed the twist later in the book, it gave the story a new and fresh light.

The ending was actually very satisfying and gave a sense of closure.

Not quite a five stars for me, but definitely a unique read.
