Untouchable
by Sam Mariano
Changed this to 4.5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ✨ cause after two days I just keep thinking about this book.
Does this book have some problematic themes? Yes.
Do I care? No.
Alexa! Play Into it by Chase Atlantic
This is what one does when over 45+ of your Goodreads friends have read this book. You clearly need to devour it whole. Regardless of work, school, mental health-- whatever. You inhale this.
The story starts off with Zoey being a town pariah. See, she's in one of those small towns that you never want to get caught dead in because they treat high school boys like royalty because they have nothing better in their little cesspool than their football team. So when Zoey attracts the attention of one of the players Jake, and he gropes her when she clearly says she is not interested, she takes it upon herself to be a one-woman justice machine.
So clearly you know, a great heroine because she respects herself and isn't a doormat.

"I am the thing that happened in this high school, in this small town. I am the person who made people uncomfortable. I am the catalyst that shook everyone’s fake friendliness and brought out their ugly, and what did I do? I dared to speak up for myself."
So clearly you know, a great heroine because she respects herself and isn't a doormat.
