To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
5.0

The book was amazing. I specifically liked Scouts character, how it was worked into and how she reacts to the dangers around her. I also found intriguing that everything is written in her point of view, as I imagined that this would impose some complications of not being able to explain certain things, as Scout would not have understood them. I liked how the first part of the book focuses on their daily life, and then gradually transitions into more complex themes, like racism, which is one of the main points of part 2.
