The Black Bird Oracle by Deborah Harkness
4.0
While not my least favorite book of the series, it also wasn't my favorite. I think Diana and Matthew's relationship had a LOT of problems in this book, and the characters didn't feel quite the same as they did at the end of the original trilogy. It was very witch-positive, and I did like that Diana was forced to come into her own (yet again), but I thought some of the decisions she made were really questionable, considering the woman we were left with last. It also had quite a bit of repetitious themes that we dealt with in the first three books (a witch is yet again against Diana, etc), and while annoying, it wasn't bad enough to deter me. I think one of the most disappointing parts of this book was the love potion in the woods moment and the maze in the woods part. I'll continue with the series, but with a bit more trepidation than I had going into this book.
