Taming Demons for Beginners by Annette Marie
5.0
A sexy, snarky, and morally grey demon that's motivated by baked goods. A bookworm that lives by the motto "stay away from magic, and it'll stay away from you." Forced to ally together against dark mages and demons all after a magic grimoire with lost demon secrets.
Honestly, what's not to love! That demon makes me want to become a summoner just so I can summon my own. He could call me stupid all day, and I'd love every minute of it. Plus, the baked goods mentioned in this book always make my mouth water and incredibly envious. This book had me hooked since the first chapter. It blends adventure, mystery, rule breaking, relatable banter, and a few scenes that just make me smile from ear to ear. Give it a try, you won't regret it!
PSA: This book can be read as a tandem read with the spellbound, unveiled, and warped series by Annette Marie. She has a recommended reading order on her website if this is the way you want to go, but you don't have to commit to the other series to enjoy this one.
