Permafrost by Eva Baltasar

5.0

I have now read this book 5 times and will probably read it many more. I'm not a person that tends to reread books but something about this story, this character, the way both Baltasar and Sanches have so beautifully and realistically written about topics that can be so difficult to write about has made it my comfort read. My love of this book is deeply personal, and I probably wouldn't expect others to love this *quite* as much as I did. But, to sound horribly pretentious, this book is one of those that speaks to some part of my soul and I will carry it with me always. I cannot wait to revisit it again <33
