Merci Suárez Can't Dance
by Meg Medina
This is an excellent sequel to Merci Suárez Changes Gears and it is wonderful to be back with the Suárez family at Las Casitas. Seventh grade brings a lot of changes for Merci, plus it's hard navigating her mostly white, very wealthy private school. Her ups and downs are quite realistic. I hope to read more about Merci & friends! I would strongly suggest reading the books in order. Recommended for grades 4 & up.
