The Ballad of Perilous Graves by Alex Jennings
4.0
This book is indeed wonderful–I'm glad I read this because it gives fresh breeze of fantasy, e.g.
1. Song heard by entire town and it can make the inhabitants dance.
2. The song can take shape into human and do the deeds.
3. Paint bodieeeees!?
4. Superpower MCs!!!
5. [redacted because I don't want to give more]
Some parts are not neccessary, such as I do be questioning everytime Casey appears what is his part in the story apart from being the representation (don't get me wrong I'm happy to have & learn more about Casey's own story but I do think he's lacking in taking crucial part in the story); or characters lack of depth in my opinion but all in all it is still good and I'd like to see Nola in person.
