Moving Maverick
by Lucy Lennox
I’ve really enjoyed every book in this series so far - but this one missed the mark for me.
The beginning felt like I was missing some backstory and it felt like I started a story that was already in progress and missed the beginning. Without knowing the backstory, the second chance reunion felt out of nowhere and insta-love.
Also - Mimi was really the worst. Everyone in town painted her like she was the best lady in town but I thought she sounded awful.
I did like the end though. The old lady trio didn’t bother me in this book at all either. Loved the family coming together.
