I did like the first two books a bit more. In Reckless Chance, we get Lowri and Sean as the main characters. They are the best friends to Cassie and Evan (the main characters in the first book, Rival Secrets). There are sparks between these two. The plot was interesting. Lowri and Sean accidentally got married in Vegas (obviously alcohol was involved). The Sean find out he could lose the Athena, the hotel/casino that he owns, if they annul too quickly. There is an accidental death involving a show in the Athena. However, it turns out it may not be an accident and there were other minor accidents involved with the show that Sean did not know about. There are lots of issues going on. The majority of the chapters are nice and short making this story a quick read. Overall, I did enjoy the story.
