Death is of Vital Importance: On Life, Death and Life After Death by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross

5.0

This book really helped me understand death and dying. Death scared me before and as a result I never really gave it much attention. My dad died recently and I felt like I was slapped in the face by death. I would wake up in the middle of the night and wondered where my dad had gone. The terrible pain and loss I felt was overwhelming so I went in search of answers to questions no one really could answer. This book was recommended to me by a friend who had recently lost her parents.

The book addressed a lot of questions I had and helped me to understand and process things better. I am still in mourning but I am better able to handle the grief knowing that my loved one is not alone.

I would recommend this book to anyone with an open mind who is seeking answers regarding death and dying. Now I am no longer afraid of death. I look forward to it when my time has come.
